Are you wondering about intermittent fasting?

Well, let’s get you up to speed.

I LOVE intermittent fasting. I use it in some form almost every single day. And, IT’S AWESOME!

Basically, if you’re not eating, you’re fasting. That’s why that meal you eat after not eating all night is called “breakFAST.”

Intermittent fasting is just extending your fasting window intermittently, like skipping either breakfast or dinner.

My favorite, and the one that I use almost every day, is the 16/8. Basically, this means that I have a 16 hour fasting window with an 8 hour eating window. So, I skip breakfast, eat lunch around noon, and eat dinner before 8.

It’s that simple. With TONS of benefits.

This is a good way to experience periods of hunger in your life. Hunger is actually super good for you and helps you lose weight. It lowers insulin and helps other hormones help your body lose weight.

I don’t recommend that you just up and start Intermittent fasting out of the blue. Prepare your body for a week or two first, by doing the following:

1. Cut sugars, flours, and snacking from your diet.
2. Plan all eating 24 hours ahead of time.
3. Stick to your plan and learn to be okay with hunger, cravings, desire, and discomfort.

After two weeks of this your body will be ready to easily incorporate intermittent fasting.

So, what do you think? Are you ready to get started?
